Description
This is the species reference for my new pony species. This species is semi closed. Tell me if you make one. I will put names up here until I get a premium membership and am able to make a group for them (a good reason to donate points to me
)
I forgot to add on the species ref that they
-can only be pastel or natural colors
-Have Manes and tails like all other ponies
-can get cutie marks
- have wings that are easily broken
- lay eggs rather than having live young
- have a special hive symbol above their cutie mark (Symbols: strawberry-t-pony.deviantart.c… )
-are seperated into 8 different hives(list of hives coming up later. If you have a suggestion for a hive name tell me)
-have hive leaders(only I and the few people that suggest hive names may design leaders)
-Can have any name, but most have something to do with flowers and trees.
-are omnivores, but rarely eat any meat, can eat fish
HIVES:
- Hollow Hive(suggested by
)- Live in brush thickets
-Marsh Hive(My Idea)- Live in the mangrove trees of the marsh
-Honey Hive(suggested by
)- live near the bees and work as bee keepers and honey harvesters
-Sky Hive(Partially suggested by
)- live in the clouds(like cloudsdale)
- Cavern Hive(suggested by
)- live in the dark in caves
- Tree Hive (suggested by
)- live in the trees
- Sea Hive (suggested by
)- These live pretty much entirely around water. Their home is small tunnels in a very large cliffside, and most of their hive life revolves around leaving their roosts to catch fish not unlike a seabird would and bringing it back to their own homes. These particular Forest Sprite Ponies' colors tend to lean toward the cool spectrum (blue, green, purple); warmer colors are fairly rare.

Can I convert one of my OC into this species?
I have an OC that I feel unsafe to keep with (she's a Sea Glass Pony) and the species itself is far too resembles Aqua Equos. I might keep some of the designs but still stick to the Forest Sprite rules.
